To say I've seen it all is an understatement.
A few years ago I turned my back on the industry, got a new degree and started a new business in digital marketing.
During that time I was working on my computer for 8-16 hours a day.
Surprisingly, I put my health & workout routine on the back-burner figuring I'd get back to it when I had more time.
Without even realizing what had happened, my mental health tanked - life felt blah.
I wasn't sure why because I was excited about my work.
After two years of neglecting my health routine I had to move into a new home, which meant lifting all the heavy furniture.
I was appalled to find that lifting the furniture and heavy boxes were almost impossible for me. I had zero grip strength for carrying it and it all felt like a struggle.
I knew I had to get my strength back and I knew I needed to re-commit to my health routine. I didn't have the time or the stamina for 60-minute workouts and I was long past all the diet industry tactics of restricting foods I loved to eat.
But I had a routine, that I've used in the past for emergencies such as these and I implemented it fast.
In less than 4-months I was back to feeling like myself again.
It also reminded me of what I always knew about myself: that moving my body and being committed to a routine (that works for my life) makes me feel my best: Happy, healthy & accomplished AF.
Because of this experience, I was called back to my health coaching, workouts and yoga. I was reconnected with my bigger WHY and my purpose in the industry, which I had let get blurred by the vanity, toxicity and superficiality in the health and fitness industry.
So I'm back, to help busy working women who know on a deeper level that they want and need to build a health routine - not only for weight-loss and toning - but for the benefit of your mental and emotional wellbeing.
